Toyin was calm, intelligent and approachable. A complete family man who lived an exemplary life. knowing him since our secondary school days at Mayflower School and through our career in Shell, I did not see him behave out of characters for once. He was a perfect gentleman and a man of integrity. Rest in peace my brother and friend. God shall take care of Nike and the children..

I received the news of the passing of our dear brother, colleague and friend with great shock and sadness. Toyin was a senior colleague in my team at Shell but I came to know him and his lovely family better when we became neighbours. After they moved to another home and Toyin left Shell we did not see as much. However, I recall seeing him occasionally and whenever we saw, it was the usual friendly banter - Toyin had a great sense of humour and always had a comeback which he delivered with dry wit. He was a dedicated professional: hardworking, disciplined and worked with integrity. I cannot forget his love for golf. He was a man of God and was committed to his calling. He was a great family man: a loving husband and father. This was evidenced in his family from my interactions with his lovely wife and children when we were neighbours. He was a GOOD man! I pray for God's comfort and peace for his family especially his dear wife and children. May he rest in perfect peace. We lost a gem!

You went too soon, but God knows the best. You have fulfilled your purpose and I thank God for your life. May your soul rest in peace, till we meet again across the bridge where there is no more sorrow and pain. Adieu Toyin Adenuga.

TRIBUTE- LATE PASTOR TOYIN ADENUGA Goodbye from this part of eternity. Death changes everything. We will always hope to see you in Lagos during camp meetings, after you relocated to Lagos. You life was gentle and full of dedications and commitments. When you were pastoring Jubilee Centre in Port Harcourt, you were a shepherd indeed. You led by examples in all things. You are always the first in church and you will always fix technical and even sanitation and all other issues. You were a hands-on person. Your love for God and the sheep under you was full to overflowing and was manifested in your sacrificial gifts and offerings. We will miss you, but our lose is Heaven’s gain and therefore we rejoice with Heaven’s gain, though with pains in our hearts. We pray for the family he left behind. Lord we ask that you dry their tears, and take away their fears. Comfort, heal and protect them. May they feel your presence every walking day, like never before in Jesus Name. Tribute to A Dear Friend and Brother, It is difficult for me to come to terms with the fact that you are gone. Death is painful; however, death taking a precious jewel like you is even more painful. You lived a life worthy of emulation in every respect, a good role model who did everything the right way: With you there is no cutting of corners. I celebrate your dedication to the right standard of life and high moral values. Some are bone great, some achieve greatness and others have greatness entrusted on them. You achieved greatness. I respect you so much and your life of achievement. The memory of the righteous is blessed, so you may be gone and it is very sad to face that reality that I will never see you again but at the same time, I feel comforted in my heart because you lived a good life and your memory will always be with us. I will miss the way you fondly call me “Ngee” Rest on Friend and Man of God

Like an offering poured out at the altar, you lived your life for the purpose of God. Though you are a Pastor in the church, an MD of company, an Engineer etc, my daughter will remember you as her birthday mate that always do high-five with her and play with her on your shared birthday. Getting sound right in church, you inspire us to achieve just like you fill any gap in any department in church, be it Ushering, playing the drums either on I-pad or the attempt at the real drums, fixing faulty equipment and not too big to even do the sanitation, composer of song and rhythm for the father’s day event etc. You have put off the earthly tabernacle to join the celestial bodies cheering us on to victory, it is only your armor suit that changed, we know you are now with the many witnesses in the heavenly army, still serving the Lord’s purpose. Like an offering poured out at the altar inspiring other. Though no High-five this year with my daughter in the physical, she will see you in heaven to collect the many in arears. Cheer well, From the Afuapes (CCIC Lekki)

Uncle Toyin, It’s like a bad dream that I desperately want to be woken up from. I wonder if it was genuine peace or denial I had that you would recover all. But I later realized that your peaceful demeanour and laughter in the midst of turbulence took over the atmosphere and the Prince of peace prevailed. God is sovereign and that, I know very well. Uncle Toyin exuded humility and personified excellence. Never allowed anyone to be ignorant unless they chose to be - ‘let me explain …. to you’ is a popular phrase I knew him with. An outstanding teacher, be it politics, be it life, engineering or the Bible, just to name a few. Undeniably, you left us with a legacy of peace in the midst of chaos, generosity, exceptional humility, fairness and great faith that stands the test of time. I will be careful to put all the lessons learnt from you into practice. Although it’s very hard, but we refuse to sorrow like those without hope. While looking to meet again in eternity, we will remember to learn patience and hold on to the God of all comfort. I’m so honoured to know an exceptional individual like you. Good night Uncle Toyin.
